About the role

This is a superb and exciting opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic and resilient Head of Geography to lead the Geography Department to ensure high quality learning takes place and that outstanding attainment and progress are secured at key stage 4 and 5.

Barclay Academy is a flourishing mixed, non-selective secondary school and sixth form based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, admitting students from the ages of 11 to 18.

We were recently graded Good overall by Ofsted, with Outstanding for Leadership and Management, as well as Personal Development. We are continually developing an academic culture at Barclay Academy where the highest standards are expected of students and staff.
